My Work

My approach to effective design begins with the principles of visual perception. In order to engage the audience of any media outlet, it is important to first set the stage for the message. Similarity, continuity, proximity, and groupings, are all integral components to effective graphic design; thus evoking a positive response from the given audience. Content is then elevated by these principles.


Web and Print Design focusing on concept development, design, and production. Simultaneous project management for various forms of media.

Array of market experience includes branding, retail, industrial, imaging and trade show.

Mac and PC platforms. Adobe Creative Cloud incuding Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and PowerPoint. Solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel for production purposes.

XHTML, CSS, and User Experience integration. Print and web color utilization. Process, spot, and hexadecimal.

Design and editing websites through CMS and Ecommerce platforms such as Joomla, Shopify, Magento and Wordpress.

Product photography.

Illustration and photographic retouching.

Print design included various media for product branding, special events, publication ads, and package design. Web Design included front end development and editing CMS. Web promotions such as emails, landing pages and promotional banners.

Lowry Solutions Graphic Design and illustration (August 2012 – November 2012) Web design and product illustration.

Busch’s Corporate Headquarters - Print and Web Design (June – August 2012) Projects included designing email headers, banners, and html revisions using Dreamweaver. Product photography for weekly ads.

Art Van Corporate Headquarters - Web Design (July - November 2011) Projects included designing index page promotions and landing pages.

Borders Corporate Headquarters - Graphic Design (September 2010 to January 2011) Print media included insert ads for The NY Times, LA Times and other publications. Design and production of store category signs.

University of Michigan - Information and Technology Services - Graphic Design (July - September 2010) Design for print media for student services included postcards, coupons, signs, and posters. Also: Web graphic optimization.

Landscaping for the Heart and Soul - Landscape design and photography. (June 2009 – November 2009) and (April 2010 – July 2010) Landscape design and on-site photography for catalogue of client work.

Photo Marketing Association - Graphic Designer (August 2007 to September 2009

Long term contract:

Design and layout for PMA corporate and exposition identity for North America and international through print and web graphics. Brochures, application forms and web design. Also, the layout of French, Spanish, and Russian text into business forms and brochures.

Quickly adapted to exposition preparation and marketing initiatives while revitalizing the design of PMA 2008 and 2009 trade show material.

Conceptualized and designed a marketing initiative into a widely recognized visual identity for a specialized market for the PMA Australia Photo Exposition 2009.

Freelance Print Design (2005 to 2007) Self employed.

Print design included brochures, logo design, and various graphic media.

J&L Industrial Supply - Graphic Designer (March 1999 to August 2005)

Executed projects for the J&L corporate headquarters and J&L UK marketing. Catalogs, direct mail, newsletters, brochures, web, and email banners.

Worked closely with production to ensure that the layout and design directives are in place and on time.

Initiated custom direct mail cover templates to drastically reduce constraints of monthly deadlines between the headquarters and abroad.

Managed overlapping deadlines of direct mail and catalogs between corporate and UK marketing while executing and maintaining standard projects for the offices and showrooms.
